The Thompson i6 is the first release from Thompson Lacrosse, and it promises to be a very interesting product. One of the first things you will notice about the head is its unique sidewall. This sidewall is modelled on the Iroquois Confederacy flag, and is without doubt one of the best looking heads on the market. The head itself boasts a large amount of sidewall holes and a great pinch. This wasn’t done by accident, as Thompson Lacrosse focussed on designing the head from a stringers perspective. It is a universal spec head, so it can be used in all levels of play. The scoop on the i6 is one of its main features, as it is angled perfectly and has the right amount of flex to make any groundball easier. The head itself is a good balance of stiffness and flexibility, as it allows for small amount of flexibility for shooting but won’t flex much on impact with checks. This is a great first release from Thompson Lacrosse, and it truly rivals any offensive head on the market today.
