We have seen the addition of performance meshes, with wax mesh and waterproof mesh dominating the market. Traditional stringers can now get quality leathers and instruments such as the TradiTree to make their jobs ten times easier.
The improvement to mesh has made consistency, weatherproofing and overall quality better than ever. Products such as Stringking, East Coast Mesh and Throne Mesh are now becoming more popular than the former standards of hard mesh or soft mesh. These new meshes allow for a more customised pocket and offer a more specific pocket to the way you like to play. You’ll not hear much complaining from stringers about any new products coming through!
